When: Sunday, August 16, 2026, 11 AM to 4 PM
Where: McNears Beach Park, 201 Cantera Way, San Rafael, Picnic Area #1 is reserved for our group
Parking: Park in the McNears Beach parking lot. Our picnic area #1 is near the pool and bathrooms/changing rooms.
What: Join other families for a day at McNears Beach Park enjoying a picnic area with picnic tables and grills available for cooking. Light snacks and drinks will be on hand, but bring your own picnic meal. Bring your swimsuit and towel for the pool! Our spot is reserved from 11 to 4, so arrive at your convenience with cleanup at 4.
This year, through the generosity of the National Park Service and Marin County Parks, fishing lesson fun has been added to the annual McNears day offering! Special staff will be on hand to teach participants how to fish along beautiful San Pablo Bay!
Registration: Free option available, donations are gladly accepted
