El Polin Spring Kimball Presidio Hike

(For those who are only able to join the hike, please arrive by 11:50 AM so we can start the hike on time)
Where: Meet a few minutes before 11 AM at the Presidio Main Post picnic table area between the Presidio Visitor Center (210 Lincoln Blvd., cross street Anza Ave., facing the Main Parade Lawn) and the bathrooms next to Il Parco. (Map search: Presidio Visitor Center, Lincoln Boulevard, San Francisco)
Parking: There are parking kiosks all around the area to pay for Presidio parking, and free parking at Crissy Field East Beach for those who don’t mind a bit of extra walking.
Description: Light lunch, trivia, and prizes! Meet for fun and informative Kimball-sponsored activities before the hike. Then join Lisa Louis (of HikingAutism.com) and family for a walk through the historic Main Post of the Presdio to the Ecology Trail, where we will walk through a small redwood grove and then take a stairway down to the historical site of El Polin Spring.
Dogs are allowed on leash, for those of us with dog-sensitive family members.
